How to subscribe to RSS feeds ?

"RSS" stands for "Really Simple Syndication", a smart way to receive dynamic information without connecting repeatedly to the original web source. Wikipedia tells us that "most commonly, web syndication refers to making web feeds available from a site in order to provide other people with a summary of the website's recently added content (for example, the latest news or forum posts)".

To subscribe using Firefox, you can use the standard white and orange icon you should see inside the address bar (a dot and two waves, on the right end). Firefox will show you the feed's current content and ask you wether it should create a "live bookmark" for this feed. If you click on the "Subscribe now" button, you will see a new bookmark in your bookmarks toolbar. It will always show you the latest news from this site, so you can come here later if you notice interesting news !

Note that Firefox is not the only way to subscribe to RSS feeds. Many web browsers and mail clients will have similar functions. Of course, you can use dedicated apps on your computer or smartphone, and even use online RSS and news reader...
